About the event
The foundational 200 Hour Sanctuary OC Teacher Training in alignment-based Vinyasa Yoga is ideal for aspiring teachers and serious students wishing to deepen their practice. Students will gain an in-depth understanding of the life-changing benefits of Yoga, as the ancient practice has evolved over the years. Carolyn Long E-RYT, ECP, Quantum Healer will be your guide on this 8 week journey and you will emerge with the confidence and tools to begin to teach what you love! Areas of study include:
- intensive, alignment-based Yoga asana study
- Yoga specific anatomy and physiology
- Energy Medicine and Anatomy
- principles of Vinyasa Flow & intelligent sequencing
- principles of pranayama
- the Yoga Sutras and Yoga philosophy
- Ayuveda lifestyle, what’s your dosha and chakra system
- introduction to meditation
- the art of teaching Yoga, hands-on adjustments
- the business of Yoga
- teaching private Yoga sessions
Students will receive a certificate which they can use to register with Yoga Alliance at the RYT-200 level and share with prospective employer.
We begin Monday September 26 and meet every Monday and Friday 6 to 9pm and Saturdays 11am to 2pm. You can be live in studio or on Zoom!! This certification training will end November 4th.
